Get a fully-funded energy assessment

The Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Energy Efficiency Scheme, funded by UK government, is providing free building energy assessments to organisations with charitable, benevolent, or philanthropic purposes who are running frontline services. 

ESOx is an approved assessor under this scheme, and likely to be the primary provider of assessments for Oxfordshire-based applicants. The deadline to apply for a fully-funded building energy assessments is Thursday 20 June 2024.

You could be eligible if your organisation falls under the following legal structures:

  • Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) 
  • Community Benefit Society (CBS) 
  • Trust 
  • Unincorporated Association 
  • Co-operative society 
  • Community Interest Company (CIC) 
  • Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) 
  • Company Limited by Shares (CLS) 


Follow-on capital funding 

Following the assessment, there’s an opportunity to apply for follow-on capital funding ranging from £2,000 to £150,000 per organisation to install energy saving measures. This funding provides a golden opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of your buildings and incorporate low carbon technologies.

Last funding round is approaching fast
