Get a fully-funded energy assessment

We’re sharing news about a fantastic opportunity for Oxfordshire organisations. The Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Energy Efficiency Scheme, funded by UK government, is providing building energy assessments to organisations with charitable, benevolent, or philanthropic purposes who are running frontline services.

We’re proud to be an approved assessor under this scheme, and likely to be the primary provider of assessments for Oxfordshire-based applicants. The scheme offers fully-funded building energy assessments to eligible organisations until August 2024.

You will be eligible if your organisation falls under the following legal structures:

  • Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO)
  • Community Benefit Society (CBS)
  • Trust
  • Unincorporated Association
  • Co-operative society
  • Community Interest Company (CIC)
  • Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG)
  • Company Limited by Shares (CLS)

Follow-on capital funding

Following the assessment, there’s an opportunity to apply for follow-on capital funding ranging from £2,000 to £150,000 per organisation to install energy saving measures. This funding, awarded in two rounds, provides a golden opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of your buildings and incorporate low carbon technologies.

The application process is detailed, but the benefits are substantial. An energy efficiency assessment alone would normally costs £1,500+VAT, so this is an incredible opportunity to access valuable resources at no cost to you.

Last funding round is approaching fast

Please don’t miss out on this chance to make your premises more energy-efficient and sustainable. The first round for applications has already closed, but the second round for applications will open in April with a final round in July. We encourage you to visit the official website for more detailed information and the online application form.
